Government
Egan Associates has undertaken a wide range of projects in the public sector for Government Departments, Agencies of Government and corporatised entities of Government at both Federal and State level.
Our long history of advising government has seen Egan Associates working with Tribunals appointed by Government to determine remuneration across a diverse array of Government activities, preparing submissions for enquiries sponsored by Government, primarily relating to legislation or the regulation of the private sector in relation to an aspect of an employee’s conditions of employment, including remuneration and benefits.
Over an extended period of time John Egan has worked with the Commonwealth Remuneration Tribunal and its Secretariat as an advisor, including but not limited to the documentation of the role of a Department Secretary and Specified Statutory Officer, as well as the work of Parliamentarians.
Egan Associates made two substantial submissions to the Productivity Commission enquiry into executive remuneration and also prepared submissions to the Board of Taxation and Treasury on matters under review by the Government in relation to the taxation of employee reward or benefits.
We have advised on appropriate reward levels for members of Advisory Boards with both national and international representation and engagement and we have provided advice on appropriate reward for full-time and part-time executives serving on State or National industry bodies, either subject to a single Minister or both Federal and State Minister approvals and jurisdictional control.
